Working Meeting with the Minister of National Development Planning/Bappenas, Haji Uma Highlights Subsidized Fuel Quotas and the Aceh Special Autonomy Fund

19 January 2023 oleh admin

JAKARTA, dpd.go.id - DPD RI member from Aceh, H. Sudirman or familiarly called Haji Uma highlighted the distribution policy of subsidized fuel quotas and Aceh's special autonomy funds in the Committee IV DPD RI meeting with the Ministry of National Development Planning/Head of the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) at DPD RI, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (18/01/2023).

In the presence of the Minister of PPN/Bappenas Suharso Monoarfa, Haji Uma asked for an explanation regarding the scheme for calculating subsidized fuel quotas and regarding the issuance of a Circular (SE) from the Government of Aceh concerning Control of the Distribution of Certain Subsidized Solar Oil in the Aceh region.

"Regarding the subsidized fuel quota, this is how the calculation scheme is. Because last year, with a budget of 650 trillion, subsidized fuel ran out in the middle of the road. Then ask for an explanation regarding the Aceh Government Circular Letter, that is the domain of the central government and whether the rules do not overlap or conflict," asked Haji Uma.

Haji Uma added that it should be the authority to issue regulations related to the control of subsidized fuel by the relevant ministries that apply nationally, not the local government because there is concern that there will be overlapping regulations that will burden the community.

"With the issuance of a local government circular regarding restrictions on the purchase of subsidized fuel, where each quota set by the government is 25 liters per car, there are 40 liters to 60 liters per car. Try to imagine this is of course very miserable for the community," said Haji Uma.

Then Haji Uma also highlighted the Aceh special autonomy fund, which today is related to the existence of a central deposit, namely a development plan that has a correlation with the center in the special autonomy fund.

"We ask the ministry to be able to evaluate and review the system for allocating special autonomy funds for Aceh and no more "deposits from the center", this will make it difficult for Aceh to move forward and prosper the people of Aceh," explained Haji Uma.

He also hoped that in the special autonomy fund there will be no more intervention in terms of central development which is charged to the Aceh special autonomy fund.

"Like the problem of general education which today is charged with 20 percent of the budget from the special autonomy fund which should be the responsibility of the central fund, therefore the religious education sector, which in fact is Islamic law in Aceh, is not given space, this special autonomy fund should not exist anymore. intervention," hoped Haji Uma.

He continued, "To make matters worse, in the Aceh special autonomy fund, 60 percent of the budget is for the province and another 40 percent is to be distributed in every district/city in Aceh. So where is the function of the region, then this is where fraud occurred in managing the Aceh special autonomy fund, so this requires seriousness to design a better future by the minister, so that Aceh can quickly get out of the poorest province in Sumatra," concluded Haji Uma. **ars
