PPUU Passed the Family Resilience Bill


Jakarta, dpd.go.id - The joint meeting of the Bill Drafting Committee (PPUU) and Committee III DPD RI passed the Family Resilience Bill (RUU) after a fairly tough discussion related to the sanction chapter and the determination of the title of the Bill at joint meeting (Ragab) on November 16th.

Located at the Meeting Room of PPUU DPD RI, B Building 3rd floor, Parliament Complex Senayan, Jakarta, Ragab led by PPUU Vice Chairman, Abdul Qadir Amir Hartono, senator of East Java, in addition to agree on the elimination of sanctions, also discussed the establishment of National Platform for Resilience Development Family.

The National Platform is an institution formed by non-governmental parties consisting of academics, researchers, communities, non-governmental organizations, religious institutions, media, and businesses that carry out special functions and mandates related to increased effectiveness, the search for breakthrough and acceleration development of family resilience.

"In our view, Committee III, that there should be a special institution that focuses on families that integrate everything so that the focus of the government can focus on actually building a family fortress, building family resilience. As for the related names we will discuss further, "said Vice Chairman of Committee III, dr. Delis Julkarson Hehi, senator of Central Sulawesi, Wednesday (29/11/17).

Agree with dr. Delis, Ajiep Padindang senator of South Sulawesi said that there is a need to establish the National Platform as a forum of government-recognized institutions.

As to the name of this National Platform, he proposed 2 (two) names namely Family Resilience Board and Family Resilience Committee. (ram).
