Chairman of DPD RI Consults the Code of Conduct With the President RI


Bogor, dpd.go.id - DPD RI Chairman meets President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo at Bogor Palace on Monday (7/5). The meeting was to consult the MPR, DPR, DPD, and DPRD Act (Act on MD3), especially the Code of Conduct (Tatib) of DPD RI.

"Meeting with President Joko Widodo in the framework of MD3 Act consultation especially the Code of Conduct of DPD RI," said Chairman of DPD RI, Oesman Sapta.

On the occasion, the Chairman of DPD RI Oesman Sapta accompanied by Vice Chairman of DPD RI Nono Sampono, Vice Chairwoman of DPD RI Darmayanti Lubis, Chairman of Committee I Akhmad Muqowam, Chairman of Committee II Parlindungan Purba, Chairman of Committee III Fahira Idris, Chairman of Committee IV Ajiep Padindang, and Plt. Secretary General of DPD RI Maruf Cahyono.

West Kalimantan senator explained that this meeting is to unify the views of DPD RI between the Government. "Our arrival is to discuss the content in the implementation (Tatib). The results are good, supported by ministers of the President and will soon be discussed, "he said.

Later in the election, it will be divided into two regions of West and East. "We have decided that the elections will be divided into two, namely West and East so that it will be fair," said Oesman Sapta.

Oesman Sapta added that for regions that have been elected to be leaders such as West Kalimantan, Maluku and North Sumatra regions can no longer nominate. "For me, Mr. Nono, and Mrs. Darmayanti will no longer participate in the nomination," he explained.
