Chairman of DPD RI Welcomes the Indonesia-Kazakhstan Investment Cooperation

Jakarta, dpd.go.id - Chairman of DPD RI Oesman Sapta welcomed Kazakhstan's desire for cooperation in the form of investment in Indonesia in the economic fields such as agriculture and industry. The cooperation will certainly have a positive impact on the two countries.

"We welcome investment from outside, especially from Kazakhstan. We will begin the world of trade between Indonesia and Kazakhstan, "said Chairman of DPD RI Oesman Sapta when receiving a visit from the Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Nusantara III of the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Monday (19/8).

Oesman Sapta said that Kazakhstan has huge oil reserves. In the future, Indonesia will also cooperate with and benefit from Kazakhstan. "That's why we have to 'continue' to foster this relationship. Even through important discussions again, "he explained.
The senator from West Kalimantan also explained that the DPD RI was ready to help this collaboration to run as it should. "For that what is needed should be well informed, we will help this cooperation, "he said.

Meanwhile, Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Indonesia Daniyar Sarekenov said Kazakhstan is a new country that will soon celebrate its 20th birthday. Since independence, Kazakhstan has always built good relations with neighboring countries.

"We will work with Russia, China and the Middle East countries. We have also cooperated with countries in Europe. Of course we are very concerned about cooperation in Asia, especially Indonesia, "said Daniyar.

According to Daniyar, Indonesia is a major partner in Southeast Asia. Kazakhstan, which is the largest country in Central Asia, and Indonesia, the largest country in Southeast Asia, believes that the cooperation between the two countries will be beneficial. "We can work together profitably in various economic fields such as agriculture and industry," he explained.

In addition, Kazakhstan, which is also a member of Eurasia, will be traversed by the Silk Road. So Indonesian products are open, not only in Kazakhstan but in China and European countries. "With the Silk Road going through Kazakhstan. Then it will make it easier for Indonesia to import its products to China and Europe, "he said.
