Jakarta, dpd.go.id – As the helper team of the Committee III DPD RI, the working team on Employment Sector held the first discussion about the supervision of Indonesian worker abroad at the Meeting Room of Committee III DPD RI, Parliamentary Complex Senayan Jakarta, Monday (16/01/2012).

The meeting opened by Hardi Selamat Hood, Chairman of the Committee III of the DPD, resulting proposal of the needs for the preparation of materials related to the current problems of Indonesian Workers (TKI) as a measurements in the evaluation of supervisory of workers abroad, “especially the most prominent example is the recruitment case, I think it’s the most important issue,” says Abdi Sumaithi (DPD RI member from Banten).

The working team on Employment emphasizes the discussion forward to the draft proposal on initiative material of committee III Year 2013 and the plan on monitoring aspects of Committee III on the implementation of the Law No. 39 Year 2004 on Placement and Protection of Indonesian Workers Abroad.
