Jakarta, dpd.go.id – TWO former senators period 2009-2014 attended the 7th plenary session of the DPD RI, in Nusantara V Building, on Friday (16/12/11) morning. Djan Faridz (former senator from Jakarta Province) currently serves as Minister of Public Housing replacing Suharso Monoarfa, while Sudarto (former senator from Central Sulawesi Province) currently serves as Deputy Governor of Central Sulawesi period 2011-2016.

In his speech, Djan Faridz hoped to keep good relations between the DPD RI with the ministry he leads. “I hope there is synergy between the Ministry of Housing with the DPD RI, therefore I would invite the senators to participate in the programs of my Ministry,” said Djan Faridz.

In addition, Djan Faridz also expressed programs related to the public housing. One of them is the cheap and easy construction of houses for the Civil Servants (PNS).

Meanwhile, Sudarto expressed his appreciation for the support in carrying out duties as a senator until he is elected as Deputy Governor of Central Sulawesi. He also wished to keep developing good relations between himself and the DPD RI and support each other.
