Progress Report on Implementation of Duties and Approval Decision In The 5th Plenary Session of the DPD RI
Jakarta, dpd.go.id – The House of Regional Representative of the Republic of Indonesia held the 5th plenary session of The Period Session I of theYear 2011-2012, in Nusantara V Building, Parliament Complex Senayan – Jakarta, Friday morning (28/10/11). The session was led by Vice Chairman I DPD RI, Laode Ida II, accompanied by Vice-Chairwoman II of the DPD RI, Gusti Kanjeng Ratu Hemas.
Dani Anwar, Chairman of Committee I DPD RI, reported progress on implementation of Committee I tasks related to the field of legislation and supervision through the optimization of the execution of multiple tasks Task Team that has been formed. “Committee I during this session was a discussion within the framework of the preparation of the DPD’s view of the Social Conflict Bill and the State Civil Reform Bill,” said Dani.
Related to the Social Conflict Bill and the State Civil Reform Bill, the Committee I requested that the manuscript of DPD’s view of the two bill can be approved in the plenary session.
Then, Chairman of Committee II DPD RI, Bambang Susilo reported for the implementation of tasks related to preparation of the DPD RI Initiative Bill, oversight of implementation of the Law Specific and others. The preparation of the DPD RI Initiative Bill is on Amendment of Law Number 38 about the road also Oil and Gas Bill. While the results of the DPD RI supervision over certain Law which is the DPD RI supervision of the Implementation of Law Number 18 Year 2004 on Plantation and also the Law Number 22 Year 2001 on Oil and Natural Gas.
“Before we end this Committee II report, we expect this plenary session to certify the results of the DPD RI supervision on the implementation of Law Number 22 Year 2001 on Oil and Gas and the results of the DPD RI supervision on the implementation of Law Number 18 Year 2004 on Plantation, “said Bambang.
Meanwhile, the Committee III DPD RI highlights on the medical education. Chairman of Committee III, Hardi Selamat Hood in his presentation said that medical education is required to be able to respond to the development of society, whether local, national, and international levels in order to create the qualified and competitive graduates. Committee III hopes that consideration of the Bill on Medical Education can be a consideration in undertaking this DPD RI review against the bill referred to.
Chairman of Committee IV DPD RI, Cholid Mahmud submitted the DPD RI decision on the DPD RI consideration toward the follow-up results of BPK RI semester I Year 2011. Cholid hoped that the results of these discussions can be passed on to the 5th Plenary Session of the DPD RI on The Period Session I of the Year 2011-2012.
Other fittings which also reports the implementation of tasks, however do not make any decisions are: Domestics Affairs Committee (PURT), Public Accountability Committee (PAP), Bill Drafting Committee (PPUU), DPD group in the People’s Consultative Assembly and the Special Committe of the State Border and the Working Team of the State Border on Committee I.
