Manado, dpd.go.id— North Sulawesi Legislative Expo 2011, held in Manado Town Square parking lot (Mantos) officially opened by the Assistant I of Governance, Meiki Onibala representing the Governor of North Sulawesi, SH Sarundajang, Friday (14/10/11). The event which was originally a meeting of government representatives from both provincial and district government / city is going to last for three days, starting from 14-16 October 2011.

In his speech, representing the Governor of North Sulawesi, Meiki said that this Legislative of North Sulawesi Expo is an event that is very useful as a meeting for the members of the Representatives who are representation of the people. “This is a very intelligent breakthrough. Hopefully this momentum of togetherness will become a regular event in the calendar and can still take place every year,” hope Meiki.

Meanwhile, Marhani Victor Poly Pua (DPD RI members from North Sulawesi) in his speech expressed his great appreciation for the implementation of Legislative North Sulawesi Expo 2011 event. “On behalf of the DPD RI, we say thank you for this brilliant idea. I think this is a very good initiative as a form of political work and to inform the public of the things that we’ve done in fighting for aspiration. We hope there is support from the government because this momentum is an intellectual political education for the community, “said Marhany.

Legislative Sulawesi Expo 2011 was followed by the DPD RI, DPRD of North Sulawesi Province as well as 12 District / Town, among others: Manado, Bitung, Tomohon, Kotamobagu, Minahasa, North Minahasa, South Minahasa, Southeast Minahasa, Bolaang Mongondow, East Bolaang Mongondow, North Mongondow Bolaang , Sitaro Island (Siau, Togulandang, Biaro).
