Jakarta, dpd.go.id – GLOBE Workshop is an initiative of The House of Regonal Representatives (DPD) for Legislators Initiative for Indonesian Forest. The workshop was opened by Akhmad Muqodam (PPP), President of GLOBE Indonesia which is also a member of the House of Representatives (DPR) Commission II, and was attended by Chairman of DPD, Vice Chairman of DPD and Members of the Globe Indonesia consisting of DPR and DPD RI, while the Minister of Forestry of the Government Zulkifli Hasan and Kuntoro Mangkusubroto Unit Chief of Executive REDD Indonesia, as well as other stakeholders such as CIFOR, the World Bank, UNDP, UNEP, Norway, Brazil and the United Kingdom and the academic community (UNDIP Rector and Representative of IPB) in GBHN Room, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday ( 11/10/2011).
