Chairman of the DPD RI Receives Indonesia Leadership Camp (ILC)

Jakarta, dpd.go.id – Chairman of the DPD, Irman Gusman accepted Indonesia Leadership Camp (ILC). ILC program was organized by the University of Indonesia for four days from the date of 3rd to 6th October 2011 in the framework of the preparation program in the future leaders which was attended by 130 outstanding students from 30 universities across the country of Indonesia. “The ILC has been going twice, the first was organized in 2010″, it was submitted by Kamaruddin, Director of Student Affairs at UI at the hearings and discussions with the chairman of the DPD RI with Indonesia Leadership Camp (ILC) in Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday (06/10/2011).

On that occasion, Bang Irman calls for Irman Gusman among the academic community convey his experiences in achieving his leardership until now. Irman shared his principle of leadership which are a leader should be democratic, a leader instead of thinking how to be re-elected but to think how to prepare future leadership successor, as quoted “a politician thinks how to be re-elected while a leader thinks how to prepare the next generation of leadership in the future “, he said.

“Democracy has changed all that impossible become possible so that everyone can take part and everyone can be what they want to be” he added. Democracy is a never ending process that takes time.
