Jakarta, dpd.go.id – Continuing the series of National Workshop on Grand Design: Development of National Law and Central – Local Relations that was held on Thursday morning (20/10/11) in the Boardroom of Committee I DPD RI, PPUU DPD RI formed a formulator team of research results on central and local relations which will be reported at the closing ceremony on the next day in the Lobby of DPD RI, Parliament Senayan, Jakarta.

The event which was attended by representatives from 17 universities, NGOs, academics, Constitutional Forum, as well as legal experts chose college representatives from Gorontalo, NTT, Yogyakarta, North Sumatra and West Kalimantan. “The explanation of the speakers is to get the theoretical inputs required by PPUU DPD RI in arranging and formulating the Grand Design,” explained Juniwati (senator from Jambi) as the Steering Committee of the second event in that workshop.

“With regard to authority relations, institutional relations, supervisory relations we call as the formulation and follow-up,” said I Wayan Sudirta (Chairman of PPUU DPD) on the formulation of research results that will be signed and submitted to DPD along with 2 (two) other formulas that is ‘institutional of law center’ and ‘central-local financial relations.’

In the future, the participants expected the result will not only be a documentation of central and local relations but it can produce stronger and comprehensive outlook that will be followed up for central and local interests.
