Jakarta, dpd.go.id – FOLLOWING the plan of Working Visit of Committee I related to Bill of Social Conflict Handling to the province of Aceh, Central Sulawesi, and Bali, Working Team for Social Conflict Handling conducted a session discussing the materials for working visit and consolidation of working agenda, held in Parliamentary complex, Senayan-Jakarta on Monday (12/09/2011).

According to I Wayan Sudirta (Senator from Bali) there are four things potentially to be used as material for working visit and material of Bill of Social Conflict Handling. “I think there are four things that cause conflict in Bali and these can be used as material for next working visit, including the issue of certified lands; state land taken over by investors; issue of land that has had legislation but is not recognized by the local community; and personal issues either related or not related to tradition,” he explained.

On this occasion, Muhammad Ghazali (Senator from Riau) gave the proposal to invite religious leaders in Indonesia in order to deliver advices and solutions related to this Bill from the government. While the material for working visit to Central Sulawesi and Aceh will be discussed during the session of team of working visit for each region. Therefore, the Bill of Social Conflict Handling is expected to be resolved right away in order to be approved in the upcoming Plenary Session.
