Task Field II is in charge among others on politics, law, human rights, as well as central and local relations. In the session, several regional issues and the follow-up were raised. Related to the conflict easily ignited in several areas in Indonesia, Sri Kadarwati emphasized that this nation should quickly improve the nation’s character. “Lots of conflict and problem that frequently happen are actually symptom of the nation’s character which is increasingly distant from the values of Pancasila,” said the senator from West Kalimantan Province.
Meanwhile, the high number of problems handled in the central region, according to Alirman Sori, needs to be reviewed. “We should encourage problem solving at the local level in accordance with applicable rules.
