Jakarta, dpd.go.id – The House of Regional Representative of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI) held the Third Plenary Session in the First Session Period of Session Year 2011-2012, in Nusantara V Building, Parliament Complex Senayan, Jakarta (15/09/2011). The session was led by Chairman of DPD RI, Irman Gusman, accompanied by Vice-Chairman I of DPD RI, Laode Ida and Vice Chairwoman II of DPD RI, GKR Hemas.

Agenda in the 3rd Plenary Session the First Session Period of Session Year 2011-2012 is a report of progress on task implementation and ratification of decision from fittings of DPD RI.

In the report of progress on the task implementation presented by the Vice Chairman of Committee I, Alirman Sori conveyed exposure and asked for decision approval regarding the Bill of Principles of Employment and State Officials.

“Committee I of DPD RI asked the Ratification of the Bill of Principles of Employment and State Officials as an initiative proposal product of Bill of DPD RI to be soon submitted to the House of Representatives (DPR) and become guidelines for DPD RI in conducting the discussion on the Bill of State Civil Apparatus that will be conducted by Committee I,” said Alirman.

Several issues become major issues in the Bill of Principles of Employment and State officials, among others:

Make the Bill of Employment as a rule that connects the regulation of employment with other regulations such as the Law of Local Government, the Law of Freedom of Public Information, etc.

1. Make the Bill of Employment as a correction to the lack of effectiveness of the rules and deviations that occur in the implementation of the Employment Law.
2. Redefinition and categorization of the State Officials and its elements.
