Jakarta, dpd.go.id – The House of Regional Representative of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD) held plenary session also opened the First Session Period of Year 2011-2012, at Nusantara V Building, Parliament Complex Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday night (16/08/2011).

Agenda in the plenary session were: The Opening of Plenary Session of the 1st Session Period of Year 2011-2012, The Opening Speech, The Ratification of Organs Member, and The Secretariat reports to the Executive of the DPD RI.

Before holding a plenary session, DPD RI held a big celebration by hosting the joint session of the DPR RI – the DPD RI in order to listen to the speech of the President. “This event is a milestone for the existence of the DPD,” said Irman Gusman.

Membership organs approved in the plenary session are:
1. Committee I
2. Committee II
3. Committee III
4. Committee IV
5. PPUU (Bill Drafting Committee)
6. PAP (Public Accountability Committee)
7. PURT (Domestic Affairs Committee)
8. PHAL (Inter Parliament Committee)
9. DPD group in the People’s Consultative Assembly
10. Honorary Board
