Jakarta, dpd.go.id – THE ELECTION of Chairman for PPUU DPD for the Session Year 2011-2012, led by vice chairwoman of the DPD, G.K.R. Hemas, runs fast without going through the voting process both on the level of region and leaders.

Held in Meeting Room of Committee IV DPD RI on Thursday (18/08/2011), participants of the central region representatives chose Hairiah (DPD Senator from West Kalimantan) as a candidate for the chairman, while the Western nominated Iswandi (DPD Senator from Lampung Province). As for the Eastern, I wayan Sudirta (DPD Senator from the province of Bali) became a strong candidate for the chairman of PPUU.

The chairman of PPUU elected by acclamation with the results, I Wayan Sudirta (DPD Senator from Bali Province) who re-elected as chairman of PPUU accompanied by vice chairwoman Hairiah (DPD Senator from West Kalimantan) and vice chairman Iswandi (DPD Senator from Lampung Province).

Once elected as chairman PPUU, I Wayan expressed his expectation that the three elected chairmen can later work together well, “hopefully this cooperation can continue to survive and achieve the existing targets,” he explained simply.
