Bambang Susilo was re-elected to chairman of Committee II DPD RI
Jakarta, dpd.go.id – The First Plenum Session of Committee II DPD RI of Session Year 2011-2012 with the agenda of the DPD RI Committee II Chairman Selection chaired by the Vice Chairwoman of the DPD, GKR Hemas, in building B DPD, Senayan -Jakarta, Thursday (18/08/2011).
Many new faces graced Committee II of DPD RI, which are Noorhari Astuti of Bangka Belitung province replaces Bahar Buasan, Poppy Dharsono (Central Java), which replaces the GKR. Ayu Koes Indriyah, Muhammad Afnan Hadikusumo replaces H. A. Hafidh Asrom representatives of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, and Hana Hasanah Fadel Muhammad replaces Budi Doku of Gorontalo Province.
Elections held under the provisions of article 47 act 1 and act 2 of the Rules of Procedure relating to the DPD Election of the Committee Chairman Procedures which consists of one Chairman and two Vice-Chairmen of the Committee. Western region proposed Intsiawati Ayus (Riau) as chairman candidates, Bambang Susilo (East Kalimantan) as the Chairman of Committee II, who are the previous chairman of Committee IV representing the central region, while the eastern region with a fairly tough lobby finally decided upon a candidate that was Matheus S. Pasimanjeku. Based on the election procedures of three candidates, they hold a forum to decide the Chairman.The results of the three candidates was taken by vote (majority vote) as quoted by Matheus “from the result of the forum we have agreed to do voting” he said.
Committee Chairman Election was conducted by a vote with the results; Bambang Susilo ranked first and elected as Chairman of Committee II, beneath with a very thin margin was ranked second was Intsiawati Ayus and vice chairman II Matheus S. Pasimanjeku.
Finalize the meeting of chairman election of Committee II, GKR Hemas handed the hammer to the three elected chairmen, continued with the opening speeches by each chairman.
