Senator Sri Kadarwati Felt Disappointed
Jakarta, dpd.go.id – The session of Working Team Committee I DPD RI led by Ferry F.X. Tinggogoy (Senator from North Sulawesi Province) which was attended by three members discussed the final plan of Working Team of Boundaries and will write a Boundaries book with expert staffs AA Sudirman and Candra Motik, was held in Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (22/08 / 11).
Sri Kadarwati (Senator from West Kalimantan) said that in this period special committee is back to Committee I become Working Team of State Border Committee I; issues in boundaries require government intervention. The problems are such as spatial issues, different design issues in each boundary, population problems because of the e-ID card will increasingly make people living on the border difficult to have a single ID card because of problems of distance to the Regency.
The presence of BNPP to speed up development in the border area is still a chimera. Sri Kadarwati felt disappointed with BNPP, moreover the Governor of West Kalimantan gave no good response to the team that came for Working Visit to Kalimantan, and even the Chairman of the Border and Regional Cooperation Board could not be met and was represented by expert staff. The Chairman of Special Committee of Borders and Team left for border area in Kalimantan as a representative of West Kalimantan.
Candra Motik (Expert Staff of the State Border) said that there are also problems resulting from the research from LIPI and UI on sea sand and when there was a Working Visit to Riau. Management of sea sand is a sensitive thing and is no more a secret how much sold to Singapore and many problems of sea water theft due to the higher value of the price of sea sand and the problem is the lack of prevention of the theft.
Ferry said that are too many problems in the borders, and therefore there must be follow-up of all the problems in the borders, if necessary, we are able to know and look for solution in every border point.
