Resolutions in the 15th Plenary Session of DPD RI

Jakarta, dpd.go.id – The House of Regional Representative of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI) held the 15th plenary session in period session IV of the year 2010-2011 in Nusantara V Parliament Building, Senayan Complex, Jakarta (15/08/2011). The session was led by Chairman of the DPD, Irman Gusman, accompanied by Vice-Chairman I of DPD RI, Laode Ida, as well as Vice Chairwoman II of DPD, G.K.R. Hemas.

Agenda in these sessions are: ratification of the DPD’s decision, the submission of performance reports fittings DPD, delivery of reports of DPD Senators in the electoral district, as well as the closing of period session IV of the Year 2010-2011.

In reporting the performance of the DPD fittings, chairman of Committee IV, John Pieris conveyed the design of the DPD RI considerations in the selection of candidates for BPK RI members. “DPD recommends to the House of Representatives (DPR RI), 7 (seven) candidates of BPK RI to be chosen 1 (one) as a member of the BPK RI over time replacement (PAW),” said John Pieris.

The Plenary session decided some of the following :

  1. Inter-Agency Relations Committee Membership (PHAL) of 11 (eleven) members to be 33 (thirty-three);
  2. Honorary Membership Body (BK) of 11 (eleven) to 17 (seventeen) because there are changes in their composition based on the number of archipelagoes of 11 (eleven) to 17 (seventeen);
  3. Changes in the mechanism of the island group also resulted in the selection mechanism Leadership Fittings; and
  4. The establishment of a new fitting, which is the Institutional Strengthening Agency (BPK), to strengthen the position of DPD in the MPR.
