Jakarta, dpd.go.id-ON the First Session Period on Session Year 2011-2012, PPUU held its first Plenum with three main agendas: 1. Working Program Discussion of PPUU on Session Year 2011-2012; 2. Working Plan Discussion of PPUU in August to December 2011; and 3. PPUU’s Schedule discussion of the First Session Period on Session Year 2011-2012, at Parliament Complex Senayan Jakarta, Wednesday (24/08/11).

Vice Chairman of PPUU, Iswandi (DPD Senator from Lampung), opened the meeting by conveying the substance and direction of achievement PPUU program. “The PPUU work program can be divided into two quantities,” said Iswandi. Two of these quantities are PPUU work program and PPUU activities with the substance of other fittings.

Having discussed and endorsed the schedule, PPUU revised membership of the Working Team by entering Juniwati (DPD Senator from Jambi) in Working Team III, and Gusti Farid (DPD Senator from South Kalimantan) replaces Hamid Habib (DPD Senator from South Kalimantan) to Working Team I.

In addition to the Working Team membership revision, PPUU member raised the issue of the National Workshop related to the discovery of 84 (eighty four) problematic Laws in the Region as a result of cooperation with 29 universities that will be held on late September 2011. Related to the workshops, Instiawati Ayus (DPD Senator from Riau) proposed the establishment of the Special Team of the National Workshop board. PPUU decided to assigned Hamdani (DPD Senator from Central Kalimantan) and Juniawati (DPD Senator from Jambi) as a representative. While as a team leader, it was appointed Senator DPD from Papua, Paul Yohanes.
