Jakarta, dpd.go.id –THE HOUSE of Regional Representatives (DPD) held the chairman election for DPD fittings tools on the first Session Periode, year 2011-2012 led by Chairman of DPD Irman Gusman, Vice Chairman of the DPD Laode Ida, and Vice Chairwoman of DPD Gusti Kanjeng Ratu Hemas at the House of DPD Parliamentary Complex Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday (18/08/2011).

For the election of the chairman of PHAL led by Vice-Chairman, Laode Ida, it was produced one candidate in each representative area. For the western region, it was elected Adhariani (DPD Senator from South Kalimantan) as a potential leader, Sarah Lery Mboeik (DPD Senator from Nusa Tenggara Timur), as a candidate for the eastern region representative Emma Yohana (DPD Senator from West Sumatera Nusa) from the Central Region.

After a consensus agreement among the three candidates, EmmaYohana was elected chairwoman of the PHAL for the Session Period I Year 2011-2012 to replace Sultan Bakhtiar Najamudin, Senator DPD from Bengkulu.

As the new Chairwoman of PHAL, Emma declared her readiness to become leaders of fittings which governs the relationship with institutions outside the country, “if it is asked its readiness, I am ready” she said.
