Jakarta, dpd.go.id – COMMITTEE III DPD RI held the first Plenary Session in the Session Period I Year 2011-2012 in Building B, DPD RI, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta (22/08/2011). The session was led by Hardi Selamat Hood as Chairman of Committee III who was newly elected some time ago.

On the occasion, Committee III DPD RI have a session with the agenda for discussion and ratification of the schedule/activity draft of Committee III in the Session Period I Year 2011-2012 as well as discussion and ratification of the internal working mechanism of Committee III DPD RI.

In addition to these two agendas, the meeting also discussed the continuation of the implementation review activities and deepening of the amendment material to Law Number 39 Year 2004 on Placement and Protection of migrant workers (TKI) abroad as an initiative proposal of DPD RI. The next agenda was to discuss the work plan of Committee III DPD RI in order to supervise the implementation of Law No. 13 Year 2008 on Implementation of Hajj and Law Number 10 Year 2009 concerning Tourism.
