Jakarta, dpd.go.id – PLENARY Session of the Honorary Board (BK) DPD RI was held in boardroom of Committee IV DPD RI Building B, 2nd Floor Senayan Jakarta with the agenda of the leadership election of BK on Thursday (08/18/2011). The session, led by vice-chairman of DPD RI, Dr. Laode Ida, went on smoothly.

The election was conducted by selecting the names of senators who represent the eastern, western, and center regions. Western region was represented by Aida Ismeth, the eastern region was represented by Mervin Sadipun Komber, while Muslihidun Abdurrasyid represented the central region. Then each member chose one of the three names to become chairman of BK by voting.

In the session it was decided Aida Ismeth, senator from Riau Islands province, as the Chairwoman of BK DPD RI year 2011/2012, replacing Cholid Mahmud. Two elected vice chairmen are Mervin Komber from Papua and Muslihudin Abdurrasyid from East Kalimantan Province. (af)
