Jakarta, dpd.go.id – House of Regional Representative (DPD RI) held the 14^th plenary session Period IV Session Year 2010-2011 in Nusantara V Building, Parliament Complex Senayan, Jakarta (15/7). The session was led by Chairman of DPD RI, Irman Gusman, accompanied by Vice Chairwoman II of DPD RI, GKR Hemas.

In the session, the Chairman of Committee I DPD RI, Dani Anwar said that Committee I has completed the Academic Paper and Village Bill, which has also been harmonized by PPUU. “The completion of this Village Bill is extremely important given the Village Bill is one part of the revision of Law No. 32 Year 2004 on Regional Government, following the previous legalized, i.e. Elections Bill and Regional Government Bill,” said Dani.

In addition, Committee I also requested approval from the senators to validate some matters, including: Organization of Bill of Initiative Proposal i.e. Village Bill; Organization of view on the National Security Bill; Supervision Draft of DPD on the Implementation of Law No. 23 Year 2006 on the Population Administration: the view and opinion of the Aspirations of the formation of Mahakam Ulu Regency as a division of West Kutai District, East Kalimantan Province.

Then, Vice-Chairman of Committee II DPD RI, Mursyid reported the results of supervision over the implementation of Law No. 1 Year 2009 on Aviation and supervision on the implementation of Law No. 7 Year 2004 on Water Resources. “We have delivered the both supervision drafts to all senators, three days before this plenary session. Therefore, Committee II asked the Plenary Session to validate the Supervision Results of DPD RI on the implementation of the both laws,” said Mursyid.

Furthermore, the validation of decision of Committee III DPD RI related to the Supervision Results of DPD RI on the Implementation of Law No. 39 on Placement and Protection of Indonesian Workers (TKI) in Foreign Countries and view of Opinion of DPD RI on the Bill of Children’s Criminal Justice System.

Reports on progress of task implementation of Committee IV DPD RI submitted by the Vice Chairman of Committee IV, Abdul Gafar Usman requested the validation of several matters, including: views and opinion of DPD RI about Cooperatives Bill; Consideration of DPD RI towards Accountability on the implementation of the 2010 State Budget; Results of supervision of DPD RI to Law No. 10 Year 2010 regarding the State Budget of 2011; Consideration of DPD RI on Macro Framework and Principles of Fiscal Policy and Regional Transfer Funds in the Bill on State Budget of 2012.
