Chairman of DPD RI Welcomed the Parliamentary Delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran
Chairman of DPD RI, Irman Gusman, accompanied by Hairiah (vice-chairman of PHAL), Ahmad Jajuli (Senator of DPD RI from Lampung), Abdul Aziz (senator of DPD RI from South Sumatera), Asri Anas (senator of DPD RI from West Sulawesi), Bahar Ngitung (senator of DPD RI from South Sulawesi) and Siti Nurbaya Bakar (Secretary-General of DPD RI) welcoming the Parliamentary Delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The event was held in Delegation Room of DPD RI, Nusantara III Building, Senayan-Jakarta, Thursday (09/06).
The Iranian Parliamentary Delegation who were coming to Jakarta among others: Ali Ardeshir Larijani (Chairman of the Parliament) accompanied by some of the Member of
Parliament, namely Mohammad Hoein Falah Nejad, Ezatollah Yesefiyan Molab, Aziz
Akbariyan, Ghodratollah Alikhani, Seyed Mahmoud Hoseini Dolat Abadi and Effat
Shariati Kuhbanani also from Iran Embassy in the frame work of Indonesian
visit.
In his speech, Irman said that as two big countries, Indonesia and Iran have similarity and it was good to improve the cooperation for both countries.
Larijani agreed that the potential of both countries can be improved especially in the field of economic. “We believe that the economic relationship between two countries
should be improved,” he said.
