Referring to the decision of the House of Regional Representatives (DPD) No. 17/DPD/2009 about the Law Center, DPD formed the Center for Design Policy and Legal Information of Regional and Central (PPKIH), and in its development, PPUU as coordinator of DPD legislation, made PPKIH as an analytical assessment tool, research and follow up of central-regional strategic issues.

The follow-up of analysis, surveys and advocacy of regional issues were emphasizing on PPKIH to provide and develop information systems and literature, “we are always weak in the documentation, anywhere and at any institution,” explained Supartono (DPD Senator from East Java) in the Working Team I Meeting in PPUU Meeting Room on the 3^rd floor, building B DPD RI Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday (27 / 1).

Experts also became the important point to support and provide views toward PPUU in studying a problem related to regional aspirations. According to Hairiah (DPD Senator from West Kalimantan), the five experts should be mutually supportive in order to avoid imbalancing in law center agency.

Besides agreeing on 5 (five) experts in the field of designers, researchers, advocacy, media relations, as well as data and information, the working team meeting had the agenda to prepare socialization and cooperation of law center at 6 universities in the region which will be held from December 9 to March 11, 2011.
