The RDPU of Committee II with Sucofindo Inc., and Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) inc., Tbk discussed the Bill on the Warehouse Receipt System (SRG), the introduction and the opening of the meeting were conveyed by the Chairman of Committee II DPD RI, dr.Budi Doku (DPD Senator from Gorontalo), then the meeting was hosted by Secretary of the Working Team of Bill on Warehouse Receipt System (SRG), Moh Surya (DPD RI Senator from West Java) of Committee II meeting room on the 3^rd floor, Building B DPD RI, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday (01/02).

The presence of Guarantee Fund Indemnity Institutions is the supplementary to this bill on Warehouse Receipt System that is expected not to add funds expended by farmers in

order to get loans considering that farmers also have been charged to other costs such as insurance costs, warehouse management costs, loading and unloading costs, goods quality test cost, goods maintenance costs and bank interest.

Lenny Sugihat (BRI Director) explained the cause of warehouse receipt system for not developing in Indonesia is because of the supporting infrastructure that is not fulfilled, second is the condition of the farmers who were lack of support, third is the external conditions (eg, harvest does not occur) that is not supporting, and cost issues.
