Committee II held a meeting of the Working Team (Timja) on Road Bill in Meeting Room PPUU on 3B floor of DPD RI, on Tuesday (18 / 1). The meeting led by Iswandi (DPD Senator from Lampung) was discussing 2 (two) meeting agendas.

On the first meeting agenda, members of the working team on road bill approved the quarterly schedule of the working team by promoting the comparative study schedule from June into May.

The second agenda, Member of Working Team suggested Suhariyanto, ST, MT (Expert of Control Cost and Time at the Suramadu National Bridge Construction Management Consultants); Drs. Burhamtoro, ST. MT. (Management Advisory P3KT); Ir. Sudirman Lambali S. Sos, M. Si (Director of LLAJ); Prof. Dr. Ir. Retno Sri Prabandiyani Wardani MSc (Head of Doctoral Program in Civil Engineering, Diponegoro University), and Ir. Purnarachman Hadipoerwono, CES ( Expert Staff of Minister of Manpower Development and Functional Expertise, Dep. PU) as the names of sources for the next RDP / RDPU.

Considering the importance of resource persons role in RDPU, the member on road bill working team made a serious attempt to add the list for resource persons with the background of law, environment, transportation, urban management, environmental impact, spatial planning and geotechnical engineers.

In the meeting, Iswandi, chairman of the Road Bill Team, stated not only the field of engineering but also laws as a legal product was necessary for a smooth implementation of technical actors in addressing the condition of damaged infrastructure. “with the birth of the this road bill, we expect our future in the field of road infrastructure could increasingly provide adequate services,” he said shortly.
