Meanwhile, the book review which was attended by four panelists Tjahjo Kumolo, SH (Parliament Member / Secretary General of PDI-Struggle), Prof. Dr. John Pieris, MS (Senator of DPD RI / Constitutional Review Institute), Drs. Slamet Effendi Yusuf (Constitutional Forum) and Prof. Dr. Ikrar Nusa Bakti (LIPI).
Related to A.M. Fatwa’s views in the book, John Pieris revealed that the narrative of AM Fatwa on Pancasila is so important, especially for the younger generation as the future leaders of Indonesia and statesman in the future. Review a little about his book, John Pieris said that AM Fatwa do tend to agree on the date of August 18 as a day of Pancasila or the Constitution Day as well. So obviously, according to A.M. Fatwa, August 18 is the birth of Pancasila as well as the Constitution day (not the day of birth of Pancasila). “Even so, the birth of Pancasila should be explored again, whether the birth of the term of Pancasila, or the birth of Pancasila, and anyone who compose it,” said John.
